Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 30, 2026  ·  Last Updated: July 30, 2026

1. Introduction

Ayscend LLC ("MyTime," "we," "us," or "our") operates the MyTime mobile application (the "App") and the website at my-time.app (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and your rights and choices regarding your information.

This Privacy Policy applies to the App, the Site, and any related services we provide. Please read it carefully. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the App or the Site.

2. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide Directly

We may collect information you provide when you create an account or use the App, including:

  • Account information: First name, last name, email address, username, date of birth or age, and gender.
  • Profile content: A profile picture you upload from your photo library or take with your camera.
  • Goals and preferences: Your motivations for reducing screen time, daily screen time goals, estimated hourly value used to calculate time or money savings, and notification preferences.
  • Social interactions: Friend connections, connection requests, group memberships, leaderboard participation, and related social activity.
  • Support communications: Information you provide when you contact us for help, feedback, or support.

b. Screen Time Data

MyTime collects screen time data only for the specific apps you select to track. We do not collect usage data for your entire device.

For each tracked app, we may collect:

  • Daily and historical usage duration
  • Progress toward your personal usage goals
  • Goal, streak, achievement, and leaderboard-related information

This data is:

  • Stored on our servers through Firebase/Firestore so it can be displayed in your personal Screen Time Report, shared with friends you have connected with, and displayed in group leaderboards you join
  • Visible to other users only as described in Section 4 below
  • Not used for advertising
  • Not sold to third parties
  • Not used for cross-app or cross-site tracking

You grant this access explicitly through Apple's Screen Time-related permission prompt. You can revoke access at any time through iOS Settings. Revoking access may limit or disable core App features.

c. Calendar Data

If you grant calendar access, we use calendar information solely to help you schedule tasks and screen-free time within the App. We collect or use only the calendar information reasonably necessary for scheduling, such as event dates and times and, where needed, event titles. We do not use calendar data for advertising, and we do not make calendar data visible to other users.

Calendar data may be processed by our service providers only as necessary to operate the App or comply with law. You may revoke calendar access at any time through iOS Settings.

d. Information Collected Automatically

We may collect limited technical information, including:

  • Device information: Device type, operating system version, App version, and time zone.
  • Push notification tokens: Used to deliver reminders, goal alerts, streak notifications, and other App-related notifications to your device.
  • Authentication and operational identifiers: Internal identifiers needed to authenticate your account, operate the App, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
  • Operational logs: Limited logs necessary to operate, secure, debug, and maintain the App, including diagnostic events reporting whether screen time monitoring started and restarted correctly on your device.

e. Diagnostics, Crash Reporting, and Analytics

We may use service providers to help us with diagnostics, operational logging, crash reporting, and product analytics so that we can identify and fix problems and understand which features are used. Any such information is used to operate and improve the App.

We do not use advertising networks, and we do not use analytics for cross-app or cross-site tracking or for targeted advertising.

f. Information from Third-Party Sign-In Providers

If you sign in using Google or Apple, those providers may share your name, email address, and authentication identifier with us according to their respective privacy policies and your sign-in choices. We do not receive your Google or Apple password.

g. Payment and Subscription Information

Subscriptions are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system. We do not receive or store your full payment card information. We may receive subscription-related information needed to manage your access to paid features, such as subscription status, product type, renewal status, and entitlement information.

h. Referral Program

If you participate in our referral program, we generate and store a referral code for your account and record which account referred you and which accounts you referred, so we can determine whether a reward has been earned and prevent abuse.

We also generate a randomly assigned account identifier that is provided to Apple as part of your purchase so that subscription activity can be attributed to the correct account. This identifier is not derived from your name, email address, or device.

i. Website and Android Waitlist

You can browse the Site without giving us any personal information. If you join the Google Play waitlist, we collect the email address or phone number you provide, the country code you select for a phone number, the date and time you signed up, and a record of the consent language shown to you at that moment.

We use this only to notify you about the MyTime Android release. We do not sell this information or use it for any unrelated marketing. You can ask us to remove you from the waitlist at any time by emailing support@my-time.app.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create, authenticate, and maintain your account
  • Verify eligibility to use the App, including age eligibility
  • Provide account and profile features
  • Provide core App features, including screen time tracking, goal setting, streaks, achievements, and the Screen Time Report
  • Enable social features, including friend connections and group leaderboards
  • Display your screen time progress to friends or group members where you choose to use those features
  • Send push notifications and reminders tied to your goals
  • Send you emails about your account and the service, and — if you have not opted out — occasional emails about new features and offers
  • Sync with your calendar to display events and help schedule screen-free time
  • Process and manage subscription access through Apple's in-app purchase system
  • Operate the referral program and determine whether rewards have been earned
  • Improve App functionality, reliability, safety, and user experience
  • Respond to support inquiries
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and misuse
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use Screen Time data, calendar data, or profile information for advertising.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not "share" personal information as that term is used under California privacy law, meaning we do not disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only in the following limited circumstances.

a. With Other Users, Based on Your Choices

MyTime includes optional social features.

Friends: Your username, profile picture, and screen time data for your selected tracked apps may be visible to friends you have connected with inside the App.

Group leaderboards:If you join a group leaderboard, your username, profile picture, and screen time data for your tracked apps may be visible to all members of that group, regardless of whether you are friends with them. Group leaderboard members do not need to be mutual friends to see each other's screen time data.

Group blocking sessions: If you join a group blocking session, your participation in that session, and the fact that you ended blocking early, may be visible to the other members of that session and may trigger a notification to them.

You should only connect with users and join groups where you are comfortable sharing this information.

b. With Service Providers

We use third-party service providers who process information on our behalf to help us operate the App, including:

  • Firebase/Google: Authentication, cloud database storage through Firestore, cloud functions, infrastructure, and related operational services.
  • Superwall: In-app subscription paywall and entitlement management.
  • Apple: Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution, and in-app purchase processing.
  • Google: Google Sign-In, if you choose to use it.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

c. Legal Requirements and Safety

We may disclose your information if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
  • Enforce our Terms and Conditions
  • Protect the rights, property, or safety of MyTime, our users, or the public
  • Detect, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, security incidents, or technical issues

d. Business Transfers

If Ayscend LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you through the App or by email if your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Children's Privacy

MyTime is not directed to children under the age of 13, and users must be at least 13 years old to use the App. We may collect date of birth or age to verify eligibility.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has created an account or provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately at support@my-time.app.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as reasonably necessary to provide the App, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect the App.

Specifically:

  • Account data. When you delete your account, your profile, screen time history, streaks, calendar settings, to-do lists, referral records, profile photo, and username reservation are deleted from our active systems at the time of your request.
  • Backups. Copies may remain in our encrypted database backups for up to 7 days after deletion, after which they are purged.
  • Abuse reports. Reports submitted about other users are retained for as long as necessary for safety, moderation, and abuse prevention, and are not deleted when the reported or reporting account is deleted. Otherwise, anyone could erase reports about them by deleting their account.
  • Waitlist entries. Retained until the MyTime Android release, or until you ask us to remove you.
  • Legal and financial records. Retained where we are required or permitted to keep them for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or compliance purposes.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account from within the App, or by contacting us at support@my-time.app. Deletion from within the App takes effect immediately, subject to the backup and abuse report exceptions described in Section 6.

We may need to verify your identity before processing a deletion request sent by email. Deleting the App from your device does not automatically delete your account or all information associated with your account.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and security protections provided through Firebase's infrastructure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you without undue delay and in accordance with applicable law.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your account and associated personal information
  • Receive a copy of certain personal information
  • Withdraw permissions for Screen Time or calendar access through iOS Settings
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your information
  • Appeal a denied privacy request, where applicable

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@my-time.app. We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and may take up to an additional 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Authorized agents. You may designate someone to submit a request on your behalf. We will require written proof of their authority and may also verify your identity directly.

Email choices. We send two kinds of email. Service messages — such as password resets, receipts, security alerts, and notices about changes to these documents — are part of the service and cannot be turned off while you have an account. Promotional emails about new features and offers can be turned off at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such email, or by contacting us. Opting out of promotional email does not stop service messages.

You can also control certain permissions directly through your device settings, including Screen Time access, calendar access, camera access, photo library access, and push notifications.

10. California Privacy Notice

This section applies to California residents where required by applicable law.

We may collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers, such as name, email address, username, account ID, and authentication identifiers
  • Customer records information, such as account and subscription-related information
  • Protected classification information, such as age, date of birth, or gender, if provided
  • Internet or electronic network activity information, such as selected app screen time usage, App interactions, and device-related information
  • User content, such as profile photos
  • Commercial information, such as subscription status and entitlement information
  • Inferences, such as goals, preferences, progress, and screen time insights
  • Sensitive personal information, to the extent Screen Time data or similar activity information qualifies as sensitive personal information under applicable law

We use this information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell personal information. We do not "share" personal information as that term is used under California privacy law, meaning we do not disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of users under 16.

Sensitive Personal Information. To the extent we collect information that qualifies as "sensitive personal information" under California law, which may include Screen Time data reflecting your app usage activity, we use that information only as reasonably necessary to provide the App and its features, maintain the quality and safety of the App, secure our services, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would require us to offer a "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" right under California law. If our practices change such that we use sensitive personal information in a way that requires us to offer that right, we will update this Privacy Policy, provide the required mechanism, and honor California residents' rights under applicable law.

California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and limit certain uses of personal information, subject to legal exceptions. California residents also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising their privacy rights. You may use an authorized agent as described in Section 9.

Shine the Light.California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about personal information disclosed to third parties for those parties' direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make a request, contact us at support@my-time.app.

11. Other U.S. State Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of a state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, and Montana — you may have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, access it, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects.

We do not sell personal data, do not use personal data for targeted advertising, and do not engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

To exercise these rights, contact us at support@my-time.app, using the timelines in Section 9. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will respond to an appeal within 45 days and, if we deny the appeal, will tell you how to contact your state attorney general.

12. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to these signals, and our systems do not currently respond to them. We do not track you across third-party websites or apps for advertising purposes regardless of whether that setting is enabled.

13. Cookies and Log Files

We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies on the Site. Our hosting provider may record standard server log information, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and reliability purposes.

The App does not use cookies. It stores information locally on your device, such as your login session and preferences, so the App can function.

14. App Store Privacy Disclosures

Our App Store privacy disclosures are intended to reflect the data collected by MyTime and by third-party services integrated into the App. Based on our current data practices, the App may collect the following data types:

  • Contact Information, such as name and email address
  • Identifiers, such as user ID and authentication identifiers
  • Usage Data, such as screen time data for selected tracked apps
  • User Content, such as profile photos
  • Purchases, such as subscription status and entitlement information
  • Other Data, such as age, date of birth, gender, goals, preferences, and app-related settings
  • Device or technical information, such as device type, operating system version, App version, time zone, push notification token, and operational logs

If our data practices change, including by adding new SDKs or service providers, we will update this Privacy Policy and our App Store privacy disclosures as needed.

15. Third-Party Services

MyTime integrates with or relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Firebase / Google
  • Google Sign-In
  • Sign in with Apple
  • Apple In-App Purchases
  • Superwall

Your use of these services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

16. Availability and International Users

Ayscend LLC is based in the United States, and the App is intended for users in the United States and other countries where it is offered on the App Store. The App is not currently offered in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.

The Android waitlist on the Site accepts contact details from any country, because it exists only to tell you if and when MyTime becomes available where you are. Joining the waitlist does not create an account and does not mean the App is available in your country.

If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.

If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App, by email, or by another appropriate method, and those changes will take effect 14 days after we post them. Changes that are not material — such as corrections, clarifications, or formatting — and changes required by law take effect immediately. Continued use of the App or the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
